Kalona’s Kaukau Kisses

Aloha! I’m Sharon, the face behind Kalona’s Kaukau Kisses.

🌺

Born and raised on the beautiful island of Kauaʻi, Hawaiʻi, I grew up learning that food is more than something we eat—it’s a way of bringing people together, creating memories, celebrating traditions, and sharing aloha.

I started Kalona’s Kaukau Kisses to bring the flavors and treats I grew up with in Hawaiʻi to my new home in Tucson. As Filipino, Japanese, and Hawaiian-rooted, I love sharing foods that tell a story about my heritage and the place I call home.

Some of our menu items that are near and dear to me is Ube Mochi, which brings together my Filipino and Japanese heritage with the local-style baked mochi I grew up with in Hawaiʻi, and Spam Musubi, a true taste of my island childhood.

I’m so excited and honored to be joining the Heirloom Farmers Market family! I look forward to meeting our new market ʻohana, connecting with customers, and sharing a taste of Hawaiʻi and my culture with the Tucson community.
