Nourish Your Neighbors

Nourish Your Neighbors (NYN) is Heirloom Farmers Markets’ community-supported food access program designed to ensure that everyone, regardless of income, can access fresh, local, and nutritious food at our farmers markets.

Through NYN, we distribute food vouchers directly to shoppers who need a little extra support, helping families stretch their food budgets while keeping dollars circulating in our local food economy. Every voucher redeemed supports Arizona farmers, ranchers, bakers, and food producers, strengthening our regional food system from the ground up.

How the Program Works

  • Community-funded: NYN is made possible through individual donations, sponsorships, and special fundraising campaigns.

  • Direct impact: Vouchers are distributed at Heirloom Farmers Markets and can be redeemed for eligible food items from local vendors.

  • Flexible & responsive: Voucher availability may vary by market and week, allowing us to respond to real-time community needs and funding levels.

  • Local-first: Funds stay in the community, supporting small farms and food businesses while nourishing our neighbors.
