$25,000 Grant Allows Heirloom to Meet Food Needs

Heirloom Farmers Markets is proud to announce that we have been chosen by Arizona Complete Health as a recipient of its COVID-19 Support Grant initiative. Arizona Complete Health’s generous $25,000 grant will provide direct support for our staffing and operational work to keep the markets safe for the community at large.

“Access to nutritious food is a basic necessity that has become far more challenging during the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Zoë Anderson, Heirloom Farmers Markets Director of Advancement. “This grant will allow Heirloom to continue to meet the food needs of our customers and help them stay healthy and safe during these unprecedented times.”

We’ve long valued Arizona Complete Health as a community partner, and this grant underscores their dedication to holistically improve the health of Arizona residents.

Greg Taylor, Arizona Complete Health Regional Vice President of Community Affairs, stated, “One of the most basic healthcare needs that our members deserve is access to diverse, nutritious foods. Arizona Complete Health hopes this grant will allow Heirloom to continue to provide a foundation of health for Tucson residents, one person at a time.”
