Vail’s Colossal Fourth at the Farmers Market

As part of the Vail Preservation Society’s Colossal Fourth event HeirloomFM invites you to celebrate community by shopping local at the Rincon Valley Farmers & Artisans Market! This 4th of July week we’re excited to bring more family fun to Vail’s premier weekly event. Enjoy live bluegrass music, kid’s activities with Taste of the Market, petting zoo, pony rides, handmade crafts, and local food as we come together for this American tradition. Plus, shop for fresh organic produce and hormone-free meats for your 4th of July barbecue!

  • Live Music from Cadillac Mountain – Enjoy live music from one of Arizona’s top bluegrass bands as you shop from over 50 food and artisan vendors.
Cadillac Mountain, a Tucson based bluegrass band, is a dynamic group of talented musicians who have been playing together in southern Arizona since 2002, bringing their high-energy hard-driving bluegrass sound and low-key style all over the state, from Flagstaff to Tombstone. Winners of the 2017 Pickin’ in the Pines band competition and the 2017 Wickenburg Bluegrass Festival Band Competition, they released their debut album, Cadillac Mountain on September 23, 2018.
  • Taste of the Market (TotM) – Get a helping of what’s farm fresh at the market and a fun activity for the family! Visitors can get an educational experience, including a taste test of fresh foods, TotM empowers individuals to choose foods that nourish their bodies while supporting small-scale local agriculture and local food producers. This program is possible through generous support by Arizona Complete Health.
  • The Rockin’ Star Ranch’ Petting Zoo & Pony Rides – Make sure to come by and experience one of Arizona’s best petting zoos at $5 per person, hosted by The Rockin’ Star Ranch. Plus, enjoy $5 pony rides and little cart rides.
