National Reading Month at the Farmers Market

March is National Reading Month, and what better place to celebrate literacy than at the farmers market? At Heirloom Farmers Markets, we believe fresh food and fresh ideas go hand in hand.

Join us at the Rillito Park Farmers Market in the Taste of the Market Tent:

  • March 8th, 9am to 12pm – Heirloom Kids Storytime and Activities, hosted by Literacy ConnectsStorytime will be at 10am and fun activities will be happening throughout the day. Drop-in anytime!
  • March 22nd, 9am to 12pm – Zine Making, get creative and tell a foodie story!
  • March 29th, 9am to 1pm – Cookbook Swap! Join us for our very first Cookbook Swap at the Rillito Park Farmers Market! Bring a cookbook (or a few!) to share, and head home with fresh inspiration for your kitchen.

It’s a chance to slow down, connect as a community, and inspire a love of reading (and food!) in the next generation. Books, sunshine, and the market, a perfect March morning.
