This GivingTuesday, help HFM get moving toward our goal of purchasing a Market Van! 

Heirloom Farmers Markets is excited to announce that we have been awarded $25,000 from Arizona Complete Health to put toward the purchase of a market van! This gets us halfway to our goal of raising $50,000 to purchase a market van. 

Donate this GivingTuesday to your local farmers markets, and help us keep moving towards our goal of purchasing a van for HFM operations! A market van is an essential next step for HeirloomFM to keep moving in a sustainable direction as a non-profit organization and to keep local small-businesses thriving for years to come. A market van will help HeirloomFM in following way:

• Expanding our outreach to the broader Southern Arizona community – participating in food deliveries to the food insecure communities, community outreach events and volunteer opportunities. 
• Facilitating our visits to farms, ranches, and other producers – farm visits are essential in knowing where our food comes from and to keep farmers farming!
• Transporting large items to the markets (tents, tables, chairs) – wear and tear on personal vehicles is something the HeirloomFM team has always just dealt with, but with a market van we will lessen the load on our personal vehicles.
