Common Ground Farm Collective

Small-scale, organic farm near Tucson, Arizona

Common Ground Farm Collective (CGFC) is a new farm project in Three Points, AZ, 30 minutes southwest of Tucson.

Last winter, CGFC partnered with Southern Arizona Young Farmers and Rancher’s Coalition (SAYFRC) to acquire 50 acres of old farmland owned by Pima County. Currently, CGFC is growing on about 3 acres and consists of two member-owners, Dani and Sarah. Common Ground Farm Collective began with two key missions in mind: to increase the quantity of organic, local produce grown in the Tucson region, and lower the barrier to entry for future young farmers in Pima County. We chose to lease larger acreage so that more farmers could come and farm alongside us, as their own entity or as a part of CGFC. This first year, we focused on wholesale but this coming season, we are diversifying our market and expanding to markets, and starting our own CSA.
