Father and son Steve and John Turcotte raise a small herd of 70 happy Angus based cows who roam freely on 11,000 acres in the lush Aravaipa Canyon in Winkleman, Arizona. They have been raising range fed, antibiotic and hormone free cattle for 10 years on a variety of grasses including Bermuda, Curly Mesquite, Alfalfa and Mormon Tea. They have just recently begun selling their beef at the Rillito Park Farmers Market. Steve has been pivotal in the land conservation movement and implements crucial sustainability practices to maintain a healthy and diverse landscape as well as livestock and wildlife population. John is also passionate about farming and has dedicated portions of the land to growing greens, which we look forward to seeing at their booth in the future!
